Validity And Reliability of The Thai Version of The Family Dermatology Life Quality Index

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the validity and reliability of Thai version FDLQI. Materials Methods: Patients their accompanying family members attending Dermatology Outpatient Clinic at Siriraj Hospital were asked complete Life Quality Index (DLQI), FDLQI, global question QoL (GQoL). The severity disease was assessed by physicians, patients patients. Results: One hundred 92 with dermatological diseases (63% inflammatory skin 37% non-inflammatory diseases) included. mean age 43.5±12.1 years 70% women. They had been mostly employed (74%) graduated from universities (65%). Validity demonstrated a positive correlation between FDLQI GQoL scores (rs=0.695, P<0.001), patient's (rs=0.578, P<0.001) as evaluated members. showed high internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha=0.84) test-retest (ICC= 0.85). Conclusion: construct validity, consistency, acceptable reliability. can be used assess any diseases.
